From 3rd November 2020 until further Government guidance is published Calder Valley’s Tuesday night club runs have been suspended.
Meet at Mytholymroyd Community Centre at 6.30 for 6.45 start. All very welcome, the more the merrier.
If you have a love of the great outdoors why not come along to one of our friendly club runs. You don’t need to be member to come along. We have a membership of very mixed abilities. You’ll certainly get to know the local footpaths and fells in our beautiful Calder Valley. Whether you’re a confident runner or just getting back after an injury or you want to have a go on the fells please feel free to join us. The club training runs are for everyone and we look after all our new runners.

Where do we run from?
Club training runs tend to start at Mytholmroyd Community Centre, Caldene Ave, Mytholmroyd, HX7 5AF. We sometimes have away runs.
In the winter
Even in the dark nights we have groups that prefer to don their head torches and go out on the fells. The first Tuesday of every month is an off road winter pack run. Appropriate clothing, foot wear and a good head torch are advised. Others without a phobia tarmac or the “hard stuff” as its fondly called go out on the local small roads in various groups.

Need more information
Just contact our membership secretary here for further information. You’ll be surprised at how much you’ll enjoy running with us.
Here’s what some of our newer members had to say …
“Joining the beginners’ group last year has opened up the valleys and expanded my horizons, both in running up hills and the friends I have made along the way – it’s not always easy but it has always been fun.”
“I thought I wouldn’t be fast enough or strong enough to join a fell running club – it wasn’t the case . A brilliant, friendly, caring club. Always happy to wait for those at the back and really encouraging. You are made so welcome so don’t delay and come along and find out for yourself.”
“What a fab find – can’t recommend it enough! It’s a friendly, supportive, fun and welcoming club. Great way to get up and be active with others.”
We enjoy going for a social pint after the run to find out what’s going on and to get to know like minded people.
