Your best 2 results at each distance to count towards the various categories, with Overall, Womens, Vets and V50 all calculated separately there is plenty of opportunity to join in the fun.Short/Medium/Long Race Kings and Queens All results from the distance are counted to decide these titles.Handicap Championships

Best 2 handicapped results from each distance to count (handicaps based on performance over the previous years)

Club vests must be worn when competing, there will be a 10 point penalty for any race where you are reported as not wearing a vest.  This enables everyone to see against whom they are competing.

An exposed route run in winter – previous experience required and cut off at CP1.

This partially flagged 15 mile route includes over 3000 feet of climbing.

Bunny Run (CS)
Short
While the relays will not count towards the club champs, you can do any or many of the 3 bunny runs and your best result will be used to calculate champs points.

Proceeds to Scouts and Rossendale MRT.

Blackstone Edge (AS)
Short
Head on over to Littleborough to face the bogs of doom and possibly win some of fell runnings most sought after prizes.

Celebrate the long weekend with The Austwick Amble Fell Race in the Yorkshire Dales.
Pre Entry via SiEntries though will most probably have spaces left for entry on the day.

Brown Wardle (and A Bit Moor) (AS)

A tough midweek short race with beer at the end.

Stoodley Pike (BS)
Short
Starting at Top Brink Inn, the route to Stoodley and back is one of the quickest approaches to this historic landmark, though still offers plenty of climbing and a rather exhilerating descent.
Don’t forget to head back to the pub after for chips and recovery drinks.

Heptonstall Festival (AS)

Come along to the festival, run this short race and you have then burnt off enough calories to enjoy guilt free beer and market food while the bands play. (though don’t drink too much as you are up early in the morning)

Skiddaw (AM)

Shake Heptonstall’s hills out of your legs with a Sunday trip to Keswick where you can take on this out and back route to the Summit of Skiddaw.

Sedbergh Hills (AL)

What better excuse for a trip to the Dales, that 14miles of fell running that delivers 6000 feet of climb through the Howgill fells.

Burnsall Classic (AS)
Short
Celebrate the end of Burnsall feast week by venturing over Skipton way on the first Saturday after the first Sunday after the 12th of August.
You won’t be running for long in this 1.5 mile race, but there is plenty to occupy you for the day at the feast celebrations.

Lost Shepherd (BL)

Now in its second year, this race is put on by some CVFR members, with proceeds going to charity. 
You’ll be visiting Stoodley Pike twice on this, by the second time you get there you will be glad to know it is all downhill.

Peris Horseshoe (AL or AM)
Long or Medium
The Peris Horseshoe race has 2 variants, with this being a tough Welsh mountain run there is also the option to do half the route and get the bus back after. Don’t forget your fare for the bus though.
Those running the half will get points towards the medium counter, those doing the full will get points towards the long counter.

Langdale Horseshoe (AL)

A weekend in Cumbria will reward you with access to this rough, tough course.
Online entries open in July.

Withins Skyline (BM)
Medium
No bonus points for those foolish enough to attempt Langdale and Withins in the same weekend, but if you are looking for a local medium race then this is for you.
This 10km route heads from the quarry, outside Haworth, through Bronte country to Top Withens before looping back.
