Ultra Championship

Here are this years Ultra Championship Races.
In an effort to increse participation in the Ultra Championships and offer some healthy competition, we have made a couple of choices.
Firstly this has been, as much as possible, geared around those events that our longer distance runners would already be doing, particularly with regard to including 4 races that are part of the runfurther series.
There are also a couple of carefully selected local events that may see a good turnout from CVFR participants, Namely the ever popular Howarth Hobble and the White Rose Ultra.
Where multiple distances are on offer you will get a better weighting on your score by participating in the longer events.
It is an unfortunate consequence that we have a clash between our own championship events, namely Teenager with Altitude and The Fellsman.  However most participants would be clearly in one camp or the other so should be able to choose which to go for.  At the end of the day you don’t need to do them all.  Your best 3 scores are all that count towards the Ultra Championship.
