Jo Waites was 3rd lady at Snowdon International Race yesterday. She was representing England and the English girls placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd ladies to win the Team Gold. This is a great achievement and well earned success. Jo has worked hard for this.
Well done Jo you have done yourself, Calder Valley and your country proud

Jo Waites, Sharon Godsman and Linda Crabtree were the victorious women's team taking Yorkshire gold on a great day at Pen Y Ghent fell race. Karl Gray was 4th and Shaun hard on his heels in 6th place. The weather was glorious and great conditions for racing.
This was also a club race so a group of us stayed up after the race and had a good night at Helwith Bridge pub followed by a mountain bike ride on Sunday. A great weekend was had by all ... The midges were the only downside on Saturday night but the pub saved us!!! (Thirza)
