Tuesday runs

a) Hard run: medium to high intensity, in groups, options 8 – 12 miles

b) Pack run: low to medium intensity, talking pace, options 6 – 10 miles

c) Speed session/hill reps/with Mark Goldie: 7.00pm for anyone who wants a quality session

Tues. 1st May 6.45 for 7.00pm MCC Coiners Race Route. Race is Bank Holiday Monday. See club race page for details. New extended route.
Tues. 8th May 6.45 for 7.00pm Away Run Heptonstall Hurriers are proud to present their latest guided tour of the local fells. Tour leaders will be included for all groups. Meet at 6.45 for a 7 start in Weavers Square. White Lion pub for pie and peas and a pint of real ale afterwards. Please email Steve (stephen.grimley@royalmail.com) if you would like to book some food.
Tues. 15th May 6.45 for 7.00pm MCC Cycle path to Brearley, across the road making your way up to Midgley Crow Hill then back via Sheepstones or Calderdale Way depending on time. Committee Meeting at 8.15.
Tues. 22nd May 6.45 for 7.00pm MCC Sowerby Crow Hill via Stake Lane. Approx 6/7 miles
Tues. 29th May 6.45 for 7pm MCC Redacre Wood, Hare and Hounds, Tom Tittiman Route (8 miles). Shorter Alternative – follow Calderdale Way when you get onto the moor just over the stile, then take whatever ever way back you like from golf course.

Thursday training

Thursday sessions will start in earnest tonight at 6.15 p.m. for a warm-up,
anti-clockwise lap of Savile Park.
This is the planned schedule for the winter:

6th Oct:     fartlek taster
13th Oct:   Interval taster
20th Oct:   1 km time-trial session
27th Oct:   Kenyan Indian-File Trees
3rd Nov:    90 second intervals
10th Nov:  Pyramid
17th Nov:  Fartlek
24th Nov:  Relay
1st Dec:    180/60 second intervals
8th Dec:    Pyramid
15th Dec:  Fartlek
22nd Dec: 1 km time-trial session

New Year:
Repeat an approximation of this 9 week cycle leading up to 1 km time-trial session towards end of February when everyone knocks at least 30 seconds off their december time.

See you on the moor, 200yards along the park road from St Jude’s church corner.
